Dr. Mohan Kaul is the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Commonwealth Business Council (CBC). Dr. Kaul was involved in establishing the G8 Business Action for Africa, Business Action for Asia, Business Action Against Corruption, Business Action for Corporate Governance, Micro Financing, I nvestment Climate Facility in Africa, Africa Recruit, NEPAD Business Group, South Asia Trade and Investment Network, China-India-Brazil-Africa Business Forum, Commonwealth-Middle East Business Forum and the UK-India Business Leaders Forum.
Dr. Kaul is currently a member of the Presidential Advisory Councils of Mozambique and Zambia. Dr. Kaul served as a Director and senior member of the Commonwealth Secretariat; United Nations Advisor; Professor and Dean at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. Dr. Kaul's international assignments include assisting the South African government of President Mandela on public service reforms, advising the Prime Minister's department of the Malaysian government in the areas of information technology, management and economic policies. Dr. Kaul organized the first international conference on Human Resource development for the post - Apartheid South Africa in 1994 and the first Commonwealth Southern African Heads of Government Roundtable on Democracy and Good Governance in Botswana in 1997.
Dr. Kaul has led a number of Commonwealth Programmes and international advisory assignments relating to good governance, public sector reforms, human resource development, privatization, private sector development and related areas in over 40 countries. Dr. Kaul has a Ph.D. in Management Science from the University of Paris-Sorbonne and has authored a number of publications including: An Outsider's Inside View-2000; From Problem to Solution; Commonwealth Strategies for Reform; Managing the Public Service-1995, Management Reform in Government; A Review of International Practices and Strategies.

Mahesh Ramachandran

Mahesh Ramachandran is co-founder and Managing Director of Commonwealth Inclusive Growth Services Ltd., (CIGS) previously know as Commonwealth Micro Finance (India) Ltd. (CMFIL) a Commonwealth Business Council initiative, focused on banking the unbanked in India.
Mahesh is a distinguished Sloan Fellow of the London Business School and holds a Masters degree in Management from the University of London and an MBA from the University of Westminster. As a social entrepreneur Mahesh has extensive experience in bringing concepts and start-ups to s uccessful businesses. Mahesh advises in the areas of corporate governance, systems thinking, l eadership development, emerging markets and social entrepreneurship.
Mahesh's earlier corporate experience includes working in Dun & Bradstreet Software, Head of I.T. & Business Strategy for Ford of Europe, Tata Consultancy EMEA - Head of Strategy & Governance.
Mahesh is Chairman of the board of Sloan Management and Advisory Services and a board member and advisor to several of Commonwealth Business Council initiatives such as " Infrastructure for Inclusive Banking in Africa and India" and CBC Trade Exchange.
Mahesh is qualified to perform controlled functions defined by Financial Services Authority of UK. Mahesh is a Fellow of the Institute for the Management of Information System (Highest level of SFIA), a professional member of British Computer Society and the Association of MBAs and Chartered Management Institute. Mahesh was past chairman of India Business Forum at London Business School.

Swaminathan (Swamy) has over two decades of rich banking experience, which includes Functional and Information Technology roles with Andhra Bank, a leading south-based Public Sector Bank. Swamy has spent over 4 years with Financial Software & Systems (FSS) in areas covering Retail Banking, Transaction Switching & Card Processing, Banking processes and Recon services.
Swamy has, as a part of his Banking experience, handled a wide variety of portfolios in Functional Banking ranging from deposits, advances to reconciliation & settlement. Swamy has also implemented Total Branch Automation, EFT Switch, etc., during his I.T. tenure at Andhra Bank. At FSS, Swamy has been handling Project Management, RFP, Proposal, Requirement Gathering, Consultancy, Business Analyst roles in the I.T. arena, over the last four years.

time in areas like Phone-Banking, Cards Marketing, Customer care, NRI services, Self service Banking, and Suvidha Banking roll out.
Ramesh has played key roles as Citi Gold Relationship Manager, Chennai sales head for branch banking, Service head for Personal Loans and Brand manager for Loan products. In his last assignment at Citi, Ramesh was the Head of logistics, India Marketing Ramesh also has a deep understanding of Branding, Marketing, Card Sales, Merchant processes in the Retail Banking space

Mohanlal was awarded the Padma shri by the President of India, in the year 2001.
He has earned the Honorary Lieutenant Colonel rank by the Indian Territorial Army (The first Actor in the country to get this prestigious title from the Indian Army on 2009).
Mohanlal is the only Indian actor who has performed in world class theatres like NJPAC (New Jersey Performing Arts Centre), USA, etc.
